HYSTER Forklift History
The main specialization, founded in the United States back in 1929 by Hyster - is the design, construction, manufacture of hoisting and transport mechanisms and spare parts of the Hyster brand.
Hyster arose as a small production of winches and lifting machines that were used in the woodworking and logging industries in the North-West of America. The basis for the name of the company was the cry of the workers who shouted before the hoisting of the logs "Hoist'er!".
Several years passed and the first forklifts came off the assembly line of the company, which allowed the company to gain recognition for its stability and quality. For eighty years the company has continuously developed and improved its products in order to take the leading position of the international manufacturer of hoisting and transport machines and mechanisms.
Hyster sells its products through a powerful global dealer network. 153 independent dealers in the world, 78 of them are in EMEA (Africa, Middle East, Europe) in more than 160 settlements. Technical and commercial support of regional distributors is carried out by specialists of the Netherlands, France, Italy, Germany.
