Aichi History





The company was founded under the name Aichi Sharyo Co., Ltd in 1962 in the city of Nagoya and began producing cranes of type "A". Then, within two years, the production of cars with a revolving ladder, as well as digger derrick constructions, consisting simultaneously of a crane, a tongs gripper, a lifting derrick and a drilling rig, was gaining momentum.

In 1965-66, the production of lifts with a cradle was successfully developed. In the 1970s and 1980s, the enterprise expanded considerably: it built factories throughout the country and opened subsidiaries. Technical Training Center Aichi Training Center Co., Ltd. It was opened in 1991, it operates to this day.

In 1992, the company was renamed to AICHI CORPORATION, and in 1995 opened a subsidiary of AICHI Engineering Vehicles Co., Ltd. in China (the city of Hangzhou).
The production of electric hoists started in 1996, and a year later the AICHI CORPORATION factories began to produce machines with lifts for the maintenance of railways, mobile telescopic lifts and heavy-duty platforms.

In 2002, business and capital merged between AICHI CORPORATION and TOYOTA INDUSTRIES CORPORATION in the production of multifunctional tractors.

In 2005, the company sold 150,000 units of equipment, and in 2012 - 200,000 units.
  
Currently, the company has its representative offices in China, Singapore and the Netherlands.
