CASE IH Brand History

CASE IH has been counting its history since 1831, when Cyrus Hall McCormick developed and produced its first mechanical thresher.

In 1842, the inventor Jerome Increase Case founded the company Case in Racine for the production of threshers. Later the company received worldwide recognition as the first manufacturer of steam engines for use in agriculture and, eventually, turned into the largest manufacturer of steam engines and grinders for grain.

In 1863, Jerome Increase Case created the company J.I. Case & Company. He takes partners of three companions: Messena Ersklin, Robert Baker and Stephen Bull. Later they become known as the "Big Four".

In 1985, the US Department of Justice approves the acquisition of CASE by International Harvester. The new CASE IH becomes the second largest agricultural machinery manufacturer in North America.

In 1963, Case already has 125 dealers in the UK, France, South Africa and Australia and 15 licenses for sale in other countries.

In 1903/1910, the company's branches appeared in other countries and continents. Including Case comes to Imperial Russia.

Modernization of lines and application of new research in the field of mechanics will begin, which leads to the emergence of new competitive machines and tools.

In 1999, CASE IH became part of the powerful FIAT Group concern as part of the new CNH company (Case IH and New Holland).

Today the concern's enterprises are located in many countries of the world. The dealer network of the company is growing from year to year.
