He was introduced by the recently formed company Thor Trucks. The model is called ET-One. It is an electric trunk tractor with a power reserve of 480 km and the ability to transport a trailer weighing up to 36 tons. The maximum speed at full load is declared to be 112 km / h.

To be more precise, the above range will be typical for the older complete set of $ 250,000. And for 150 000 dollars Thor Trucks will offer a version with a power reserve of only 160 km, but the load-carrying capacity will not change at the same time.

The power of electric motors will lie within 300-700 hp. depending on the version. It is also reported that ET-One will be based on the components of other companies, since the startup simply does not have the time and capacity to create a car from scratch. Because of this, the company will use for its trucks a modified Navistar chassis, Dana axles and Hydro-Quebec TM4 electric motors. The company hopes that it will be able to establish small-scale production before Tesla introduces its trucks to the market. However, even in this case, the ET-One has a problem - cost. Tesla Semi at a similar cost offers a longer range and more powerful engines. At the same time, the ET-One has a very unusual design, but hardly anyone chooses the main tractor for its appearance.
