DYNAPAC Brand History





History of the company Dynapac. In 1934, AB Vibro-Betong was established on the basis of the acquisition of a patent for vibration compacting of concrete in Stockholm, Sweden.

In 1941 a factory was opened in Jungby, Sweden

In 1947 the first plate compactor was produced.

1946 - the first plant was opened outside of Sweden, in the United States of America.

1948 - the opening of a research laboratory.

1953 - production of the first vibrating roller.

1958 - the foundation of a plant for the production of road machinery in Brazil.

1973 - the company gets the name Dynapac AB, under which it is known to this day.

1981 - Dynapac sales grow, the company begins to expand its production facilities. In the same year, a Japanese manufacturer of Watanabe rollers was acquired. Three years later Dynapac is redeemed by German Hoes, which specialized in the production of pavers.

1993 - the creation of a joint venture between Hitachi and Dynapac AB.

In 1995, Dynapac again acquired a company for the production of asphalt pavers. This time the company Demag Schrader.

2001 - opening of the plant in China. In 2006 - in the USA.

In 2007, Dynapac becomes a member of the international Atlas Copco group.

The company is one of the world leading suppliers of such road-building equipment as: road mills, asphalt pavers, road and asphalt compactors Dynapac, vibrating rammers, vibroplates. It is also worth noting that the patent for asphalt pavers of the company Svedala Demag was purchased by Dynapac. These pavers are made under the brand Dynapac SD series.

Dynapac road mills, asphalt pavers and other machines are produced in factories in Sweden, France, Brazil, India, Germany, China. The company's headquarters are located in Stockholm, Sweden.
