Beiqi Futian Motor Co., Ltd. (Foton) is a state-owned company, founded in 1996 by merging about 100 other companies from 13 regions of China. The company produces cars, SUVs, minibuses, large city buses, trucks, engines, tractors, agricultural machinery and much more.

Beiqi Foton Motor Co., Ltd is one of China's 520 key enterprises, and has a reputation as a leading company in the automotive industry of China. Since its founding, Foton Motor has adhered to the high principles of a market strategy based on a strict management system. In the actively developing automobile market of China, the company "Foton Motors" is the most dynamic. Thanks to its rapid development, the Company has now become the largest manufacturer of Chinese commercial vehicles.

Since 1998 the Foton Motors plant has established a quality management system in accordance with the world quality standards ISO 9001 based on the German quality control system VDA 6.0. In 2003, the company signed a strategic partnership agreement with DaimlerChrysler, marking the success of Foton Motors in the international market. The company "Foton Motors" attracts specialists from Japan, Europe, America; the plant employs more than 3,000 Chinese scientists working in the development and implementation of new types of technological equipment.

A wide range of products, competitive prices, a network of after-sales equipment service centers attracts many buyers abroad. The dealer network covers the territory of the Middle East, Europe, Africa, Asia and South America; the products are sold in more than 40 countries and regions. To date, the company has nine brands, including AUV, AUMAN, AUMARK, OLLIN, SUP, SAGA, SURF, VIEW and FORLAND. In total, more than 100 kinds of vehicles are produced.

Beiqi Foton Motor Co Ltd works in the segments of heavy trucks, special machinery, produces a large range of low-tonnage trucks, because it actually absorbed three manufacturers in the segment of small trucks and, in addition, produces jeeps.
